Design Process for Rugs
Basic Design Phase
Prepare to Build Phase

We start with some idea of the type of design you need. A theme, a picture, or even some designs that you like.

We then create a set of designs for you to choose from. Based on your feedback, we will update and repeat the same process a few times.

Once you select a design, we move to the next phase.

Now that all the design aspects are approved, your work is mostly done! We will now take this away and create bespoke stencils to be used for the weaving of the rug.

The stencils will guide the weavers to achieve the exact same look as the approved CAD drawing.
Detailed Design Phase

Once the basic design is finalized, we create a CAD drawing with exact measurements and cuts as your room requires including any obstructions on the floor.

We will also slightly update the design to cater for the rug dimensions that you choose, just to ensure that it aesthetically looks good and the design is not mindlessly used on the rug.

Next we will agree on the colours to be used. Each colour in the design is finalized and if necessary poms of those colours are sent to you to finalize and approve.

Lastly, each element in the design is also colour coded to ensure the shade effect in the design document is exactly replicated.
Build & Deliver Phase

Once the stencils are ready, the weaving process can begin.

Post weaving, the rug is clipped to ensure it has a smooth finish.

It is then washed and made ready for delivery.

Once finished, images are shared with the client along with video calls for any last minute feedback.

Post approval, we ship the rug using the client's desired mode of transportation - air/sea.
